All too often there are serious accidents happened because of poor coverage or failure which a model was uncontrollable. A built-in Fail Safe only works when all your electronics is 100%. For example, when your gas brake servo shuts down-, the battery voltage is too low-, a internal fail safe does not work. With this Kill Switch you are assured of maximum security, what ever happens, you always turn off your engine. This Switch is connected between your receiver and standard stop switch engine button. You do not need to solder anything, it is a plug-and-play system.

By programming a button on your transmitter, (from 3 channel and up), you can turn off the engine at any time. In case of a malfunction in the signal, or the voltage is too low, (adjustable in 4, 5 or 6 volts), your engine will be killed automatically.

Mounting:

You can disconnect the original engine stop switch, (the original cables will not be used), and connect the connectors A2 and B2 on the original stop button, and connect A1 and B1 on the ignition coil, (there is no + or -). Keep the cable away from moving and very hot parts. The connector C2 from the stop button is connected to plug C1 of the module. This makes it possible to assemble and to disassemble the motor without having to build out everything. The module can be safely stored in the RC box. With the LED E1, you can see the status from the outside of the receiver box. This LED can be attached using the supplied cradle, just drill a 7.5 mm hole in the receiver box.

IMPORTANT Killer Reset

  • 1) Connect killer to any channel and switch off.
  • 2) Re-tie the sender-receiver system with the Killer connected to the receiver

Only in this way does the Killer switch off the motor when the signal drops out, a fault occurs or the transmitter is switched off.

The control with 3 channels or more;

In systems with more than two channels, you can disable the motor through a pre-programmed button on the transmitter. The settings varies by channel but on most stations this function is indicated as 2P, (on-off). By turning of the transmitter, or operating the button the engine will be turned off immediately.

Works on all systems except Spektrum AVC receivers.
